Our Staff

Our Fortress Homes, Inc. provides residential placement and supervision for youth 24 hours per day, year-round, with a minimal staffing ratio of 1 residential counselor to 3 youth. Our staff are certified as Residential Youth Care Providers and receive cultural competency skills training throughout their employment with the program.

Our Residential Supervisor coordinates day-to-day living operations, case management services, and after-care supports to youth and their families once a youth reunifies with a relative or fictive kin. The Residential Supervisor ensures that each day, the homelike feel of the program is implemented in practice.

Our Clinical Team

Our Fortress Homes, Inc. provides in-home treatment services that are performed by a licensed Clinical Social Worker, who meets with youth for individual therapy, group psychotherapy, and family therapy.

Our Clinical Coordinator facilitates intake assessments, treatment planning, progress updates and referral services to out-sourced programs, individualized for each client’s needs. The Clinical Coordinator collaborates with the agency psychiatrist and the Clinical Program Administrator to ensure treatment modalities are current and relevant for the ever-changing demographic of youth placed with Our Fortress Homes, Inc.

Our Fortress Homes, Inc. provides psychiatry and medication management as a per-diem service; each resident meets for sessions with our psychiatrist in person, monthly or more often when needed.

Our Fortress Homes, Inc.’s Clinical Program Administrator has served in two capacities over the past two decades and has been integral in developing and expanding the program. The clinical model under her leadership has flourished in the areas of cultural competency, relevance and family strengthening. The clinical models implemented look towards the strengths of our residents and follow the original vision of our founder.
